After a pseudo attempt at a vacation in Thailand in March, I&#8217;ve been living in Hanoi, Vietnam, for two and a half months, a place that I&#8217;ve turned into my new headquarters, at least for a few more months. Since I arrived, I have not stopped working for a single day, so we are going to review what is most recent and what is to come.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Carta del Autor #90: Multiverso de Ediciones\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/80NAjLAOo0k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Webnarok<\/h2>\n<p>In mid-March, we finally launched the new version of the <strong>Mark of<\/strong> <strong>Odin<\/strong> website. We did it after many months of delays and having to overcome great handicaps. Since then, the development team and I have continued to work to improve aspects and iron out bugs. To this day it is something that we continue to do together with the <strong>XaviVerso<\/strong> website too, to ensure that it offers the best performance and user experience for readers. Those of you who have developed or managed websites know that this is a daily battle that never ends. Damn X-Files that pop up from time to time!<\/p>\n<h2>The stone lotus in English<\/h2>\n<p>In parallel to the intense technical work with the web pages, these first months I have been focused on completing the production of the English edition of <strong>The Stone Lotus<\/strong>. And finally, just last week I was able to publish it both in print and in ebook and audiobook. I am very excited to have managed to take this step, as it is my second book in English after <strong>The Awakening<\/strong> and marks the way to publish the rest of the books from <strong>XaviVerse<\/strong> to the language of Shakespeare.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"The Stone Lotus Audiobook Teaser\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dZp-ZEG7jWQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With this edition we have been able to gain a lot of experience and improve the translation, editing and production processes for the next re-editions we make.<\/p>\n<h2>New Audiobook Editions<\/h2>\n<p>One of the aspects in which we are applying the new features are the audiobook editions of my books. With <strong>Yes, They Will Pass!<\/strong> we inaugurate our first audiobook with more than one voice. The sixth edition of <strong>Mark of Odin: The Road to Valhalla<\/strong> and <strong>The Stone Lotus <\/strong>have followed that path by incorporating four different voices. That is why I wanted to make the effort to produce new versions of the audiobooks of <strong>The Stone Lotus <\/strong>and <strong>Mark of Odin: The Awakening <\/strong>in Spanish that you already have available in your <strong>My<\/strong> <strong>Library \/ Downloads section<\/strong>. I encourage you to download them and thus be able to enjoy a much more dynamic and attractive listening experience for when you want to relax listening to their stories or while traveling in the car or doing sports.<\/p>\n<h2>An improved Ragnarok<\/h2>\n<p>Immediately following is the production of a new paper edition, ebook and audiobook of <strong>Mark of Odin: Ragnarok<\/strong> in Spanish. This will follow in the footsteps of the recent reissues of <strong>The Awakening <\/strong>and <strong>Road to Valhalla<\/strong>, improving cosmetic and stylistic aspects of the book, mainly the dialogues. In the case of the audiobook, you can also expect the incorporation of four voices in the narration.<\/p>\n<p>Production is already underway, so I hope we can share it very soon, before the end of June.<\/p>\n<h2>The Dark Hybrid<\/h2>\n<p>With the new edition of <strong>Mark of Odin: Ragnarok<\/strong> completed and published, I hope we can finally share with registered readers its first bonus chapter, <strong>The Dark Hybrid<\/strong>. Yes, I know I haven&#8217;t stopped delaying its release, but this is a very special story and I want it to be accompanied by a cover illustration that does it justice. For this I have our art director, <strong>Manu Nieto<\/strong>, working on it. Due to the different workloads we both have; it&#8217;s proving difficult to speed up production. I apologize for that. Their translation is underway, at different paces, but my intention is to be able to publish them throughout this year.<\/p>\n<p>In parallel, we are starting the first pre-production tests of editions in additional languages. The idea is to be able to offer the <strong>XaviVerso<\/strong> books to readers around the world in their own languages. To this end, we continue to work on expanding a network of collaborators with which to strengthen our position as an independent publisher with the capacity to manage and publish works in many different languages and markets.
